Today was my first day on Jeweler’s Row in Philly.  Barsky was my first stop.  Although I did not buy any diamonds here the service was outstanding. I visited 3 other shops and Barsky’s were the only ones who took out the diamond chart and took the time to explain to me about clarity and color. All the other shops barely paid attention to me. I was price shopping so I cannot comment on Barsky prices.

I bought my wife’s engagement ring here back in 2005, and they were awesome.  Mr. Barsky himself sold me the ring, and the pricing on it was great.  I don’t want to say how much, since my wife is on Yelp, but suffice it to say, it was 2/3 the cost of the other places on Sansom, and twice the product.  I had gone to several of the stores in the area that day, and even put down deposits on several rings, but promptly went back to cancel the deposits after going here. Anyway, I bought her a beautiful princess cut diamond with a platinum custom band, and everything about their service was great.  They kept me abreast of the production process, and let me know when to pick it up.  When we had to buy out wedding rings, we looked around, but came back to Barsky in the end.  My wife got a platinum diamond band, and I got a tungsten band.  Both were ready promptly and again, we had great service.

My husband and I shopped around when we were looking for an engagement ring. A bunch of our friends had gone to Barsky’s and we decided we would check it out. Within the first few moments after entering the store, I knew we would be getting my rings there. The quality and uniqueness of all their jewelry was so impressive. The sales team was so helpful, friendly and not pushy at all. My husband ended up designing an engagement ring for me with one of the salesmen and it is beautiful. We went back to have them design a wedding band that would work well with the engagement ring. No matter where we go, I get compliments on my rings all the time (even though they really need a good cleaning!!!) and I always tell people where they came from. My husband was very impressed with their competitive pricing and the quick turn around time for the designing. In the future, if I need a new piece of quality jewelry, this is where I will be shopping. Thank you!!!!!
