1. Can I have my diamond laser inscribed ?
   Once you have found the diamond of  her dreams, Barsky's will facilitate the shipping of the diamond to GIA for laser inscription.  [top]
   
   
2. Can I trade in old jewerly, towards the purchase of a new Item?
   No. All Prices on our website are final without "trade-in" or "trade-up" privileges of previously bought merchandise from Barsky Diamonds.  The only price reduction which are exempt are Barsky Diamonds Gift Cards. [top]
   
   
3. Do you care or clean for jewelry sold from your site ?
   All jewelry that is purchased from Barsky Diamonds is eligible for a free cleaning every six months.  This is a courtesy we extend to our customers so your jewelry retains the sparkle just like the first day it was recieved.  Also its one more way to take care of our customers. [top]
   
   
4. What is your return Policy ?
   Barsky Diamonds offers a 30 day refund on all our products .  All products must be returned in the original packaging and all Certificates must be returned for all diamond purchases.   The exceptions in this case are if the jewelry was lasered or engraved.  These items are none refundable  [top]
   
   
5. How do you handle product unavailablity ?
   Rarely the data we have published on our site may be inaccurately displayed due to human and or system errors. While we make every attempt to avoid these errors, they may occur. We reserve the right to correct any and all errors when they do occur and we do not honor inaccurate or erroneous prices. Our prices are also subject to change without notice. We apologize for this inconvenience and any mis-communications that this may cause. 6. How long does it take to recieve Custom Jewelry?
   Custom Jewerly varies depanding on each piece and what is required.  We place a time stamp below all products so customers have an approximate time as to when to receive merchandise [top]

   Here at Barsky's we provide our customers with the best prices possible.  All our sales and advertised prices are final and non-negotiable. [top]
   
   
8. Barsky's stance against purchasing Conflict Diamonds
   Has always, Barsky Diamonds will be dedicated to providing high quality diamonds to our customers for the best possible and ethical values.  We too share the public's concern regarding conflict diamonds. Here at Barsky's we only purchase our diamonds through respected, legitamate channels. Barsky will continue to support and promote the Kimberley Process that works to uphold legitimacy in the diamond trade and stops the trade of conflict diamonds.

   What are conflict diamonds?
   
   Conflict diamonds, also known as "blood" diamonds, are rough diamonds used by rebel movements or their allies to finance armed conflict aimed at undermining legitimate governments.

9. Will I be charged sales tax ?
   Barsky's only collects sales tax on orders that are shipped to addresses within the state of Pennsylvania [top]
   
   
10. Are your shipments safe ?
    Yes.  All products we send to our customers are fully insured, and all purchases over $500 will require a signature, regaredless of any and all waviers. [top]
    
    
11. Is shopping with Barsky's secure ?
    

    Here at Barsky's we take great measures to ensure that all our customers’ purchases and transactions are a secure and pleasant experience.  There are several layers in place to ensure the highest level of security.  First we use Verisign SSL 128 encryption for all incoming and outgoing credit activity.  We also have authorize.net to process all credit transactions and provide fraud protection.  We have also employed Scan Alert to provide security audits, analysis & security penetration testing.

12. What are the four C's ?
    The four C's are the industry grade standard from the Gemological Institue of America.  Each diamond is graded on the four standards of Carat (size), Color, Clarity and Cut. [top]
    
    
13. What is the importance of a GIA diamond certificate ?
    A GIA diamond certificate assures all customers of a diamonds vaule and quality.  The report talks about key characteristics of each diamond which includes the 4C's, and makes it almost impossible to falsify. [top]
    
    
14. How much should an engagement ring cost ?
    The standards vary, but as a rule of thumb, the average ring should be approximatly 2 to 2-1/2 months salary.  We tend to tell our customers try to use a value to quality ratio. [top]
